I have a Hawk 982 (with 18" barrel) that I want to add a two shot extension to. Can anyone suggest a manufacturer that makes an extension for these?

I would like to say that it takes a Remington 870 extension...75% sure.

an 870 extension will work (I've been told) but the tube on the 982 is longer than an 870 so a two shot might be too long.

somewhere in that thread theres a guy that makes extensions specifically for 982's

On my 982, I drilled out the "bumps" on the end of the magazine tube and added a one shot extension from Wilson Combat. The threads were the same, but I think the two shot extension would stick past the muzzle a little.

The gentleman goes by the name Max100 and can be found on Gunbroker, MD Shooters and others (maybe here?) - the +1 extension flushes out with the end of the barrel and works well.

The Wilson 870 +1 extension will fit but it will be about 1" shorter than the muzzle. It's well made and looks good. I am the only one that offers a +2, 7+1 tube extension, even with the muzzle, for the Hawk 982 and H&R Protector shotguns. Mine is well made and looks good also.
