Guys,
I just received the Colt Low Mass hammer, and blue hammer spring, that SAW sells for reliability upgrade.
I am looking at this hammer, and wondering what is the wire? that is actually INSIDE of the hammer? When you look at the hammer, there are TWO holes. One is on the end of the hammer, for the hammer pin, and one hole is in the middle of the hammer.
This middle hole, has a wire? looking piece running through it, which is actually INSIDE of the hammer. You can also barely see this same wire, inside the hammer pin hole.
What is this????
