Took the family out to the 250 acre ranch in Castroville this afternoon. Finally got my wife to agree to shoot the handgun, second time in her life! After 5 minutes of instruction and a little follow up (still need to work the support side grip some), she nailed a soda can from 10 yards out! The girls had a good time as well and the bluebonnets were in full bloom. What a great day!

Great pictures! The last one with all your girls on the quad is an absolute classic. Enjoy these times. They grow up fast!!!:)

Good times! I live right up the road from Castroville. Always liked that place especially the bakeries.

Thanks! Fortunately (or not, as they are great girls too) I can only claim the twins who are in the picture with me in the flowers. The other two are friends!

Ah, Texas in the springtime. Bluebonnets, BBQ, beer and bullets. :)

Looks like a great time, Dad. Enjoy these happy years, they grow up really fast. It's fun to remember the times when Dad was the smartest person in the world, and Mom could fix anything.

Yep, all but the beer. My gut is too big already!
