View Full Version : Light Saver Strobe tailcap
Just got some of these in for T&E. All I can say is WOW! These tailcaps turn your ordinary flashlight into a strobe! They also give you a constant on capability without having to twist the tailcap. The tailcap also features a lock out capability. Last, but no least, the tailcap can also tell you if your batteries are about to go!
Here is how it works. A quick press and release gives you constant on. Quick press and release turns it off. A continuous press gives you seven strobes a second!
The tailcap is compatible with most every SF light made (G2/9P/6P/Millenium series/Z2/G2Z). They are also working on some for the Executive series as well.

what about the scout light
Nice. Now I'll never have to buy a Gladius. I'd be interested in checking one out when they're available for the E series.
But how does this tell you when batteries are low? It strobes slower?

That is kick-ass!
I can see me ordering up one.
Now you just need to get some more 75 gr practice TAP and Troy folding rear sights...
;)

Executive tailcaps are about 3 weeks out.

When you click for constant on, the light will shut off in 5 seconds.

For those interested, the price is going to be $29.
They are also looking at doing these in a plastic composite to match the SF G2. Colors that will be available are OD and Tan.

I think that'll be my first order from ya, I like that idea, as we have also used strobes for SAR ........J....
I've used a borrowed Gladius with the strobe on duty, and was impressed with it's ability to disorient suspects. Combined with the temp blinding effects it made for little resistance on take downs. I really prefer Surefires though and this may be what I was looking for! I'll have to pick one up soon!

Anyone tried one of these yet?
Anyone tried one of these yet?
I have at the Vicker/Hackathorn low light class and it impressed quite a few folks there. I guess you don't want me feedback though. :D

Grant, just you stocking it tells me it's good to go!
But I wanted to see what others thought. I had thought about buying the BlackHawk light a few months back, glad I waited now!
I will probably be making the purchase soon!
Right now I am building my Glock 35 for USPSA shooting!
I'm interested. That's another $30 on my shopping list at your place Grant...

I have some and they're great. I don't understand why it says it doesn't work with LED SureFires, I've used it on my Z Combat light with a P60L and it works just fine.
