Anyone in CONUS stock gear from the UK? After reading several British periodicals my interest has been peaked. Looks like they got some good kit; Arktis, Snugpak, and Web-Tex to name a few.

I am somewhat familiar with some Brit Kit..

It's hard to get alot of it here in the US...what are you looking for?..Clothing..PLCE/Webbing...MilSurp?

As for WebTex gear alot of what they make is 'PLCE-type' gear..but it is not the DOD issue PLCE stuff..

I use a Snugpak Softie Hawk 9 bag and it kept my ass warm in two Korean winters, several camping trips and an elk hunting trip in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. You can't go wrong with anything by Snugpak.

My interest was piqued as well after reading probably the same magazines.

Back when I was a wee laddy back in the UK, Arktis used to be the heat. Then for some reason the quality went a little down, MOLLE came out and most of us moved away from it. I wish I still had that classic Arktis chest rig. It really was a good piece of gear.

We get most of our EOD kit from the UK...i guess all those years of "the Troubles" made them leaders of industry in that field.
