How cheap is MFS ammunition? A friend of mine had some and was shooting it in his old smith. It was .38 special and for some reason out of the first 20 or so about 10 of them had ruptered cases. We have pretty much ruled out the gun, but the way I figure it is they skimp on or don't complete the annealing of their brass maybe? Maybe the brass is too brittle? Any way I'll post a pic when I get home. I promised I'd post something on here to see if someone else has had the same problem. Personally I told him (and he is well aware) that the cheapest he should shoot in that smith is probably winchester. Just my advice anyway. Heres that picture

I've gone through about 10 boxes of the .45 without any issues at all. Every single round has gone bang on the 1st strike.

It may have just been a lemon batch. I dont shoot enough of it to know whether its a common occurrence or not. I just figured I'd post something about it on here.
