M118LR projectile

can anybody tell me why this projectile is putting divots in my steel plates when none of my other 308 rounds do?

i was under the impression that it was just a regular OTM type bullet. None of the other OTM (sierra matchkings, lapua scenars) bullets in shoot in 308 (even though they're going faster) damage my ar500 steel plates at all.

I was getting divots from as far away as 425m, which really surprised me

Are you sure it's M118LR?

My 308 w/ 155 Scenars will put a tiny circular impression (the shape and size of the meplat) on my AR500 steel at distances closer than 300Y. I know others with a problem similar to mine.

m118 is not a round to be ****ed with, i don't have a reason for ya but i've watched that round do some really cool stuff overseas :D
