I searched the M&P picture thread and could not find what I was looking for. I prefer thumb safety's on my M&P's. Is there any reason the weak side (for a RH shooter) thumb safety cannot be removed and be able to run Crimson Trace grips? Unless I'm missing something I may just do this.

Here's a pretty good write-up from a guy at mp-pistol.com that did it.

I did it with my M&P45. I will post pics if i get a chance, but it just involves chopping off the one side of the safety as per the MP-Pistol link. Very simple.
