This guy has made some pro-liberal remarks before, I don't remember exactly what they were but he had fallen out of any favor in my eye's. Well, he did it again today. While showing a link on Fox News' website there was an add that read something like this;

Save your guns, Sign this petition now...

As soon as Shep saw this he exclaimed "Good grief", I've had enough of these liberal views forced down my throat. Fox News has become nearly my only source of national and international news. I wish they would $h!t can this dude. Anyone else noticed anything like this before? From him?

I've thought of complaining about him to Fox but I think I would be wasting my time.

:rolleyes:Fox needs to fire him. Either they're a conservative news outlet or they aren't. I'm sure CNN would hire him immediately.

My main gripe with Shep Smith is he wears more makeup than lots of the female hosts on FNC.

I hardly watch any TV or news at all on television. If I do it's Fox News. Most of my info is from AM or XM via talk radio.

He's a metrosexual putz, and I won't watch if he's on. John Stossel would be better.

I'm similar to you, except I mainly watch Glenn Beck.

Smith showed what a knucklehead he is when he went to New Orleans for the Katrina disaster. The night before the Feds showed up in force, he acted like things were utterly hopeless. (Of course, the next morning the military arrived.)

I don't live anywhere new Louisiana, but I remember years ago being told that in the event of a disaster, we were on our own for the first 48-72 hours and you'd think a major news outlet would have known that.

In the next segment he had the ad covered with a piece of paper.

Looked like it was taped onto the screen.

When I watch the communist news, its never CNN anymore. After seeing how left wing socialist they were during the last election.

Even now though, I hardly watch any news, but when I do its Fox. I usually visit the website instead for info.

Even canceled my news paper, when asked why, I let them know why and well, their rep. had no idea what to say, conversation was over.

Stossel would be awesome.

Smith has always bugged me, just gives me the creaps. Like don't leave him alone with small children creapy. He seems like a reasonable facsimile of a human being, kind of like Cyborg-News Anchor version 1.0.

Sounds like this closet homo needs a class in conservative values VS liberal rants.

Stossel has is own hour long show every Thursday on Fox Business, hes getting a hell of a lot more airtime than he did on ABC.

I just don't watch any cable news these days. They're all terrible. They report very little actual news and all focus on sensational stories for ratings sake. Just gimme the straight news.

Anyone have youtube of this?

I'll see if can find anything later.

I'm not real hopefull though. It was a pretty nondescript moment. He was showing the link to some ongoing chat with another commentator....I believe they were discussing "biggest threat...China,Iran,N Korea, etc".

First time he showed the link he made the "good grief" comment.Shortly after he showed it again with the ad covered.

...Someone may have captured it on DVR?

Same here. I used to come home and the news almost from when I got home almost until I sacked out.

One day I just stopped, get most of my news via the internet from various sources that don't make my head explode. I'm much better off for it. About the only one I really like to watch is Bret Baier's program.

When he was reporting about the so called threats of violence and name calling of the senators and congressmen who voted for the health care nightmare, he made some editorial comments that bugged me. He said something like "they're getting death threats because of the way they voted? These people need to relax!" It was like he was talking about some minor law that got passed that people were upset about. I was ticked.

I agree. he's a douche. He has the need to dramatize everything no matter how mundane. I really miss watching just the facts news instead of the commentaries we get now. I have to listen to 30 minutes of bs for each story. Enough.

What's more humorous is that no matter how left-wing he is, he's still getting charged with gross crimes against the proletariat if we ever become the USSA, simply because he goes to work in a building they don't like.

If it wasn't for Red Eye, Fox News would be no different than radio.

I used to tolerate Shep Smith, Greta and Christiane Amanpour, but no more. After about 2003-2004, all three started letting their liberal tendencies show.

Apparently you guys didn't see his drama queen meltdown during Katrina.

If TV news was a real, serious enterprise, he never would have worked again after that episode.

That 's a funny video.

The only thing that could be funnier would be some old school Candid Camera style video of some Momma's basement hackers when they get read their felony charges.
