View Full Version : The New Noveske VIS Upper?

How do you guys think this would compare to a LMT 10.5" upper with a Larue Rail? I'm getting set to pull the trigger on a 10.5" upper and now this had to show up!! It looks sweet!

it is the one I am going for. I don't think there is any comparison between the 2. Hands down Noveske.

The rails on this new setup look differant! There is a bigger xooling? slot and it also has front QD Sling mounting holes on both sides. Looks like a sweet deal to me!

You are correct. the 10 inch rails are different. They are not a part of a Vis upper. They are attached to a VLTOR MUR upper receiver (not monolithic by the looks of them). These are the ones that feature the QD sling mount holes. You can almost make out the manufacturers name on the new Noveske rails but I cannot see it clearly enough to say for sure. If Noveske uses them you can be sure they are of top quality though!!!!
