Tannerite

For any of yall that have ever shot the stuff, it's obviously a hoot. But at $100 a case, it's a bit spendy for something that (for the most part) is just used for fun. I am concerned about the true legality of trying to make the stuff on your own, specifically, buying the ingredients as found on this recipe. Seems like a much more economical way to go about it, but don't want to even risk breaking the law.

Your thoughts???

I'm no legal expert, but it's my understanding that as long as you are just using it as a target on private property you are good to go. If you are mixing it where you are using it, and you are not using it near anyone else's property who could complain, then I don't know why there would be any problems. I would check your state laws to be on the safe side.

That recipe works, and works well. Fun stuff.

i believe if you transport it already mixed you're in violation of a variety of laws.
but it seems that unmixed it's not an explosive.
