Was covering a deployment of US Army patriots/heros shipping out to Afghanistan today. Thought you might be interested. Some I recognize, others I have no clue as to what they are. Being a novice am wondering who can ID which rifle.
Thanks

Looks like some M249's, an M16 and a few M4's. Pretty standard squad deployed weapons.

What he said, and M203s. One M249 SAW appears to have a cut down bbl, pretty cool.

They're just M249s with a collapsible buttstocks and short barrels. They're not para versions of the M249. The one with the long barrel and full buttstock is regular M249 as well. The owner just hasn't been lucky enough to get the new buttstock and a short barrel in.
