I was just reading some other post on here and saw at least one person post mentioning Marines in Fallujah. I was just curious to see how many Marines, Sailors, or soldiers are on here that were in Fallujah back in '04.

I was there with M Btry 4/14 Callsign "Palehorse".

I was there 04, 05, 06, and some of 07... Hmm I thought I was spending a lot of time on planes. It was the welcome home, your switching units, they deploy next week program...

My cousin James Stanton was there (Marines) in '04 but I don't know any other details. Just that he was there and it was pretty hairy.

i was there in 04. i think it was 04. part of the initial occupying force. i was with the personal security detail for the battalion commander of 1st battalion, 5th marine regiment, 1st marine division. what a fun time that was.

I was not there, but a friend of mine in 1st Cav was killed there in '04. He was a good gun guy, an HK fan. Helped me put together a nice Remington 700 PSS.

I was not there but a friend of mine was. His name is Ray and he is seen in the Fox news special about the battle. He is standing there getting briefed by his LT.
Ray was shot and survived but his LT was killed.

I was there in '07 with RCT-5 PTT. We lived in the IP compound just north of the pizza slice. We ate steaks for the 4th of July overlooking the city. Great times.
