View Full Version : My RRA maiden voyage!, First time putting lead downrange!

I was up at my in-laws family easter, and everybody up there is all into guns so I figure what better time to fire my RRA AR for the first time, and that is what I did! Here are a couple of pics.

And this is my target, after sighting it in. It was windy as shit out today. I might have to make a small adjustment, but it grouped well at around 50 yards. The other two holes are from a .357 Magnum my father-in-law shot to wreck my photo! This is a 20 round group!

Just so you could see something to relate the group size to!

I also ran it completely stock BCG and CH, and it ran very well. Would it make it through a carbine class. Who knows! But I will have it along as a backup to my new BCM 14.5 middy with Aimpoint Micro H1. Thanks to G&R!

It was pretty windy, but it was definately a good time!

I got a RR too. Stock set-up for now. Has shot without a hitch and is very accurate. Will eventually get a bcm bcg and call it gravy. I'll just buy a new rifle if I am concerned after that.....

what rail you using?

How many rounds have you put through it?
