About the time I thought I wanted a Colt LE6920 for my next AR, I've become interested in the LE6921 and the RO977.

I need to decide between the three.

I want as close to a governement issue M-4 as possible, which I believe would be the R0977, correct ?

The LE6921 is also similar to the M-4.

The 6920 has a 16" bbl. and is LE only marked.
The 6921 has a 14.5" bbl and is LE only marked.
The R0977 has a 14.5" bbl. and is not marked LE only. This rifle appears to be an M-4 or the most similar to a GI M-4.

Am I correct ?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the R0977 the model number for the actual full-auto, defense-supplied M4 carbine? In that case, I don't think you can get one without enlisting and even then, they'll ask for it back when you're done.

The closest to an actual M4, made by Colt, for the average joe is the 6921.
