My Gen 3 Glock 19 has shot lots of 95,115,124,147 & 158 grain fodder with no problems.

no.. your 9mm glock should not be picky.

Never heard or had an issue.

Not in my experience. I've shot Wolf, American Eagle, Magtech, UMC, WWB, Georgia Ammo, and some reloads and never had a problem.

I have two Glock 19s and have had no problems with 115 or 124 loads. The few 147 grain loads I've fired gave no problems. In fact I have yet to find a 9mm they'll choke on.

True for all 3 of mine also.

Out of curiosity,
What generation glock is it?

the one I had only had an issue with Georgia Arms 124 FMJ.

very short round with a flat nose

it would snag on the bottom of the feedramp so removing the mag would not pop it out, the slide was locked partially open so you couldn't cycle it.

had to pound the slide back with a nice, firm slam of the muzzle end (without hitting the barrel) against the wood bench.

shot another round to confirm and it produced the same exact malfunction.

worked ok with a Beretta 92FS

(GA 124 on the left, WWB9mm on the right) "how can that be 124grn?!" I don't know but that's what the label said.

I have a generation 2 that I purchased new in 1996. I used it in the police academy (1998) and the ammunition issued for training was American Eagle 124gr. I had no malfunctions at all but it never locked the slide back on the last round. The recoil spring and magazine springs were changed out at the expense of the police academy and it still never locked back on the last round. I still carry this gun today and I use Winchester white box, or my own reloads (115 gr jhp w/ 5.3 gr of Winchester 231) and never have issues. I carry Hornady TAP 124 gr for my self defense rounds and have not had a problem since the police academy. I am willing to put money on the fact that the American Eagle was a bad batch. I also believe that higher quality European pistols (Glock, H&K...) like hotter 9mm. My second choice for my G19 is Speer Gold Dot 124 gr +p.

It shouldn't be picky.

the only thing it's ever coughed on were very light reloads, and even then it worked 99% of the time.

Nope. They will typically shoot everything from crappy light reloads to robust SMG ammo.
