NP3 on BCG?

I posted this in a different thread but thought i would start one all its own. Does anyone have any experience with this? seems like it might help with the dirty problem with di guns, would it run smoother, longer, and cleaner? any insight

I have 2 BCGs with NP3. Vary slik. Makes my rifle cycle faster. Can wear off . If I were to coat again I would go FAIL ZERO.

I wonder if all of the claims of NP3 "wearing off" aren't being confused with the finish being burnished. Nickel finishes typically rank higher on the Rockwell C scale than many bare metal components in firearms.

I have a two POF uppers, one with Silicon Nickel and the other with NP3. They clean up super easy. They live a life of full auto and I don't see much wear.
