I've cracked some base plates on my M&P45 magazines.

I see speed Speed Shooter Specialties has them for $1.50 a piece. Their web store is down until the 12th, per their home page. Any thoughts on these guys?

Brownell's appears to have them for $3 a piece.

I know 10-8's aluminum base pads are the bee's knees, but not for $20 a piece.

Are there any other sources for these, or any other options to explore?

We use the 10-8 base pads--they are GREAT. Another option is to call S&W and use the compact base pads on the full size mags....

Will the compact fit on the .45 mags?

Has anyone used the Arredondo +3 extended base pads?

How is the durability and is it suitable for duty use?

BTW, I ordered the standard base pads from SSS.

"Will the compact fit on the .45 mags?"

I don't think I would have recommended that option unless they did...

The full size base pads are basically unuseable due the their excessive size.
