Opinions on Burris Speed Dot

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Speed Dot and the 2X multiplier. I am looking for a budget/plinking optic and it is between this and the SPOT I thought the idea of the included multiplier was a nice addition.

I'm not sure it's been released yet. I've heard from Burris it would be sometime in May.

I too am interested in this unit.
