Just what is the main difference between the Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) and the Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) stocks...besides the price.

The CTR has a friction lock. Which makes it tight and not wobble.

CTR also has the QD cup on the stock for sling attachment whereas the MOE does not.
I actually like the MOE better because I dont use a QD sling attachment in the stock, and I dont care about a little wobble. The MOE isn't super loose but theres a little movement. Doesn't bother me, and I can deal with being around $40 cheaper than the CTR.
I have a MOE and it does wobble, about as much as the original 6 position stock. I wish I bought the CTR. I do how ever like the MOE trigger guards and grips.

I run two MOE's and one CTR. All three are great and the MOE's do not have any wobble on a Daniel Defense mil-spec extension. At least mine don't. :)
My MOE on a mil spec tube has no wobble at all.
