This is my first M4ergy and I am really happy with the way it turned out. Finally got the scope mount in, so I plan to zero it in today (hopefully). Ill report back with a range report! :)
LMT 14.5" upper with perm extended FS
LMT Lower
LMT 2 stage trigger
SOPMOD stock
MI Free Float handrails
Trijicon Accupoint 1-4x with red triangle reticle.
LaRue scope mount.
Just waiting on a rear sight and still trying to decide on what rail covers to get. Have a Magpul trigger guard sitting here too that I may install.
What ya think?

1x - It becomes more 'true 1x' at a bit further of a distance.

Aimpoint h1, right? I'm not the best person to make suggestions, but I'd imagine you wouldn't regret it. Like mentioned, target acquisition with the accupoint Tr24 is extremely quick. Aiming with both eyes open definitely feels natural with this scope and the reticle/triangle remains super clear. The entire size of the triangle is 4MOA at 1x, so it easily dubs as a red dot scope. Did I mention that the glass is absolutely amazing? :)
If you are military (or know anyone who is), you can get a decent buy on the Tr24. Ar15.com has a group buy on Trijicons (including the Tr24) right now. Let me know if you'd like the link.
On a side note, eye relief remains static from 1x to 4x, unlike most 1-4x scopes.

I have a Accupoint TR-24G, also on a Larue mount. I have been impressed at how fast it is for target acquisition.
I did buy a cattail for the power adjustment, and consider it well worth the cash. It's much faster to move smoothly from 1x to 4x when you want to hit a distant target.

I did come across the cattail adjustment. I'll likely pick one up when I return from Iraq. I think it would fix my only complaint about the scope (I wouldnt even consider it a complaint)
Very well thought out and executed.

Nice setup! I also have an LMT. Great Products
I, too, have been thinking about running a 1-4X instead of my dot. Seems more practical for the type of shooting I've been doing with it lately. But replacing my fixed BUIS with folding unit, buying a quality mount, and of course some quality glass is more than my bank account can handle at the moment
Nice rifle, though. I love those LMT's :D
Really nice setup. Enjoy!

Great! 1/2 assed trying to sight it in (nevermind details), so I feel I essentially wasted 100 rounds. With that said, I found out later that night that I still sighted it in well enough to take a rabbit at 75 yards with ease. As soon as I return from the sandbox, I will take it to the range with a proper rest and all that jazz.

Im in the same boat. I have a T-1 but the dot looks like Gorbachav's mole.
Im digging your combo.
nice rifle. i really like the optics.
I would like to see Yellow Triangle compared to the Red in day light. Does anyone have photos to post of trijicon Yellow traingle?
What is considered the best all around reticle? Red, Yellow or green?

I hear the yellow (amber) is the worst. It blends in with the background too much or simply isn't picked up by the eye as well as red or green. Red vs green is a toss up, but green is said to be the best all around color. The spectrum that specific of green is, apparently is the most recognized color by the human eye. It shows up on every background better than any other color, so they say. I personally would have bought the green, but the place I bought my Accupoint from only had red and amber in stock.
Of course, everyone is different.
Very nice. I've been looking into an accupoint for quite some time, just never have the funds.
Enjoy your new rifle.

I think my .17hm2 AR-15 will end up getting something similar, but I will probably go with the Millet DMS-1 instead. Still good for critters, but it's cheaper and I like the 1moa dot. Since its onlt a 150 yard or less rifle, 4x will be plenty.
The LMT is my varmint rifle and SHTF, so the triangle reticle is perfect. The improved glass of the Trijiocon is also better for the longer range shots, especially as dusk. I've considered the Accupoint with the crosshair reticle, but the small .8moa illuminated dot is just a tad bit small for quick 'chase a rabbit down' shot.

They are a top tier AR company, such as Colt and BCM. Check out the infamous chart in regards to the refinements that various companies employ. Take it with a grain of salt, however. LMT is considered one of the best.

I'm back from the sandbox on the 22nd. Bought me about 400 rounds, including match grade ammo of various brands in 62gr, 69gr, 77gr, and some cheap TAP in 55gr for initial sight in. Going to figure out what is most accurate in my rifle and actually go to a proper range this time. I will report back the 23rd or 24th'ish with some 50, 100, and 200 yard groups :)
