that mounts right to MOE handguards without any rail.

You beat me to it bud. I was literally checking the forum to make sure I didn't post something some one already had about Magpul's RVG at AIM! I've been waiting for that little thing. Want another FUG but can't afford it. Will be buying this one.

The item that attaches directly to the MOE handguard is called an MVG (MOE Vertical Grip).

Yea what they are shipping is the RVG not the VEG. The RVG is built to mount on mil spec Picatinny rails. Looks like it comes with a set that can be used to mount it on your MOE. Hope so but I can use it elsewhere if not.

All he was saying(I think) is that it's not called a VEG, it's called the MVG. Read the disclaimer in his signature.;)

Just noticed you have the Magpul rail sections in as well - those are great prices. I had no idea they were going to be that cheap.

You are so correct sir and i apologize.
I thought i had MVG but in pasting Stickman's awesome pic, i erased my text and quick re-typed it.
(I had the stock OEM pic )


Now if i can stop calling AFG (Angled Fore-Grip) a "Forward Angled Grip" (you get the acronym.. lol) life would be better.

Either way i'm waiting on Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) illumination kit
for the moe handguard.

That's what Travis and Chris said at Shot Show, watch the Militarymorons Shot Show 2010 interview w/ Magpul on youtube to see for yourself.

I've been waiting of the MVG to pull the trigger on a set of MOEs for my carbine. Pay day is today, if the check's big enough Grant's getting an order from me :D

My two questions are...

do you have to take the hand guard apart to remove the MVG?

How solid is the MVG mounted (any side to side/forward, backward play)?
