Yes it works with both PMAGs and USGI mags

That will work for both types of Mags. I also like the Esstac shingles with the KYWI insert. It can be adjusted for height too. That way if you want to carry a 20 Rounder you can with now issues. The KYWI's come in different sizes for 20 or 30 rounders but makes for a very versatile mag pouch.

I think one of the most versatile pouches on the market is the HSGI Taco (altough it's not Kydex) it can carry most mags with no issues.

Thanks for the replies. I plan on using this in conjunction with a chest rig, fill the belt mag from the rig....? My plan anyways.

We tried to get that project rolling 2 years ago with Eagle under the PIG line-up, but like many others, it got mothballed when we had to narrow our projects down to get things done. We hope to revisit it soon, but in the meantime, the Esstac Wedge with KYWI insert has been working out great and you may want to check it out. It serves the same function in that you can insert USGI or PMAGS in either direction. And SOS is right with the HSGI Taco- same deal, you can use ambidextrously. HTH!
