I have a Middy 1/9 Twist Sabre Defense Carbine I am am at a dilima. I have 500 rounds of 62 grain Barrier and I want to get 400 more but I keep reading that I should get 75 grain TAP instead.

I practice with 62 grain FMJ, 60 grain SP and 55 grain FMJ reloads (mine) and 62 grain HP wolf. Any recommendations.

I do have 3 mags with 68 grain Heavy Match and 2 with 69 grain SMKs because I found them for a cheap price.

The ammo works in both my AR's and my wife is also getting her's in 1/9 twist.

What is the difference between the barrier round and conventional 855 62gr round?

I work at a nuke plant. They specifically designed the round for the nuclear security industry because we train the "hot door" theory.

So it will be good for Defense ammo for two legged critters? I use my AR-15 to hunt uselly with 69 grain SMK but I can get the barrier for 4 bucks less. Also my wife's AR is picky on the lots of 75 grain TAP that it wants to stabilize so I am trying to get a good round for both of us.
