I just picked up an lcp for wife to carry and noticed the rifling land not the groove at about 5:30 over the outer bevel for lack of better terms. It's fairly noticeable, but missed it in the low lighted gun shop. Basically looks like a couple of dings right on the barrel bevel. It shows a little better to naked eye rather than the photo.

Is this going to be an issue to require a barrel replacement? We haven't shot it yet so I have no idea if it's going to effect accuracy. From what I've heard that's a critical area of the barrel. Thanks!

See how it does.... Then give Ruger a call if it dont shoot well. I haven't had any problems with mine, but I hear the folks at Ruger have great costumer service and should take care of you.

Thanks guys, I'll probably get a chance to run some through it this weekend and see how it goes.
