I am having a heck of a time finding a source for Mega lowers. I saw some time back they now come with the "Gator Grip". I want to try one for my Israeli style A1 carbine. Anyone know where to find one?

John at Rainier Arms sells them. He only gets them in short runs, and they sell quickly. I got mine by sending him an email requesting that he give me a head's-up when new batches arrive. He sent me an email, and I ordered mine...

Grant,

Can you post in this thread when they come in?

Just send him an email stating you want to be notified when he gets them in. He is GTG and will let you know IIRC Mega does a lot of aerospace work so they dont turn out lowers in mass production like other companies. BUt they are extremely high quality lowers.

Yes, this is always the best thing to do.

Khalan Manufacturing has contracted with Mega to produce their lowers, complete with the Gator Grip, too. I just got off their website and saw the ad. The cost is $120. It's going to say "Khalan" on them instead of "Mega" if that matters to you, though.

Do you have a link?

The only one I can find is this one: http://khalan.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=68

And it suggests it is forged, not billet, and the picture doesn't show the gator grip.
