I have an older 6P and 9P flashlight that I still really like. I would like to upgrade the lamps to LED so they don't fizzle out everytime I drop them. Any replacement lamps out there a little more reasonable (OK cheaper) than the $52 Surefire wants for the P60L?

Thanks

Check out Malkoff Devices.

Check out Malkoff Devices.

I wholeheartedly second that. Forget the P60L. You will get MUCH more power, runtime, and reliability out of a Malkoff for about the same price.

I am so glad I came across this thread. I've needed to upgrade my g2 to an LED. I just got a MUCH brighter LED (140lumens) with a runtime of 4 1/2 hours for $43 shipped. Sounds a lot better than what I would have gotten from surefire, and at a cheaper price!

I used Solarforce LED dropins for my 6P and G2. They are made in China. I've been using them for about a year without any issues. They run about $20.

Malkoff or TNVC for important things.

The P60L is quality too, but at the price point, get one of the above.
