Looking for same but for a RRA 308.

Thinking a little lower price but looking at the 1-4x accupoint or 2.5-8x Mk4 MR/T.

I have an LR308. I have an older Leupold Vari-X III Long Range Tactical, 4.5-14X50, target turrets, 1/8" clicks with a mildot reticle on it. I like it a lot.

Look into Horus scopes. Their website even has a demo on how to use the reticles. I would also look at Leupold scopes. Have fun shopping!

Wait 3 more months and you will have 1-8x choices from Luepold, Schmidt and Bender, and Premier Reticules

They will be around 1k more than the ops said budget.

You really need to define what the LMT mws will be primarily used for....long distance and bench work or CQB/ HD and course work.

I have decided on the nxs 3.5 (x50) for my incoming mws....as i will be shooting almost always at 100m plus.

Less then 1,500: 1-4x: Meopta, IOR, Vortex, Horus

Like a previous poster stated what are you using this weapon for:

25-50 yards mostly: Aimpoint/Eotech will yeild the fastest transitions

100-300 yards: ACOG (3x, 4x)

100+ yards: Variable scope (Leupold MK 4 3.5x-10x

Everything from 25-400 yards: 1-4x, 1-6x, 1-8x

Unless you wil mainly be shooting less then 100 yards I feel you would be handicapping the 7.62/308 round by putting on a red dot aimpoint sight. Your rifle should be able to go out to 600 yards with ease, and shooting a red dot at that distance is all but hilarious. The red dot with a 3x with be very large on your target at 400+ yards and may allow hits, but you will not be shooting for accurate groups.

I personally am a M14 guy (18" LRB M25 in a Sage EBR Mod 1 stock). I feel a good 1-4,1-6,1-8x scope is the best compromise from shooting at 25 yards to being able to engage targets out to 400-600 yards.

I have a psd with a t1 micro dot on it for close range, my gun won't be here for 3 months, so I may save more and get one of the 1x8 models, I would like the gun to be able to do anything from 0 to 600 meters looks like the 1x8's are going to be the way to go. Guess I will have to spend more:(. Thank you to all who have replied.

Trijicon TA11E ACOG 3.5x35 Scope, Dual Illuminated Red Chevron BAC .308 Flattop Reticle w/ TA51 Mount. Although it lists for $1,400, you should be able to find it on line for $1,100 or so.
