My CEO has tasked me with forming a security detail for him while on business trips. There will be different stages to this but this is the begining.

I have a military background and my counterpart is a current LEO. My question is where to get the best training for VIP protection and who has links. Is there a nationaly certified school to go to? How do you guys carry through different states without being in the SS? If anybody does this for a living and would like to share some info that would be great! Any and all links and comments would be great. I already did the google thing, but im sure not all schools are equal.

If Pat would chime in that would also be great!

Thanks in advance!

Ren

For what it is worth, I went to TFTT. I'm not sure how good they are, but it was fun and eye opening to a ton of things. Plus is was free on my end.....

SDI you have an inbound email. Iam very interested to see what you have to offer.

I was also looking at www.tacticalresponse.com The website looks good but has anybody been there?

Thanks for the input guys.

I've taken TR's Driving package -- good course for Iraq-Afghan stuff

Personally I would consider BlackWater here (http://www.blackwaterusa.com/training/courses.asp)

Just for info, the Tactical Response EP / Bodyguard Package is geared towards both domestic and non-permissive environments.

We're running another Driving Package this week Kevin......
