1. How do the floor plates come off??

2. what is the differance between a mag that has a 1 or a 2?

Where are you seeing the "1" and "2" stamps? On the magazine followers?

They are marked on the back of the mag right next to the Glock.

Let me look at some mags and get back to you. I can't picture what you're describing right now...

My Glock mags don't have a number there...you sure it's not part of the round count windows?

The numbers are on the .40 mags not the 9mm.

I think that the 1 and 2 on the .40 mags refers to an updated spring put in the #2 mags to help with feeding issues with weaponlights.

Thats what I thought.
But after getting the mags apart (Thanks M4arc), I found both springs are the same.
