After seeing these at SS, I knew they would be a hit so I ordered a bunch of them. These mounts, which work with any G2 or E2E series lights, give you the capability to remove the light from the weapon without having to remove the mount! The top of the mount swivels upwards allowing to simply set the light on the bottom and then close the clasp. There are two rubber plugs that firmly hold onto the light when the clamp is closed. Weight on M78/M79 is 1.6 ounces.

I will be offering these mounts with my working man's weaponlight series and my WG series.

Looks great, I'm glad I ordered one. What tail cap are you using on the 9V system?

That is the Z68. It is similar to the Z61, but gives you more protection from an AD.

While I dig the Vltor mount I'm using with your WG light now these look good. What's the price?

Retail is $38 on them. The VLTOR is an excellent mount for sure. I do however like the fact that I can change out my light based on what I am doing (CQB to mid-range) with just the flick of a lever.

So, I could locktite the thumbscrew onto the rail, and then the quick release allows the light to be removed/swapped without tools? Is the outer part polymer or aluminum?

That is correct. The outer shell is polymer.

are these mounts for 1 inch tubes and do they make one for the G2 as well?
