Colt CCO questions..

I have been looking at these and wonder what the general thoughts are on them. I like the officer frame with the longer slide as I hear the longer slides aid in reliability. Any negatives to the gun? Any issues with the Aluminum frame? What is the general asking price for these?

These are great carry guns that sell quickly. I don't know why Colt quit making them. It is not going to hold up as long as an all steel 1911. But, you will certainly get your money's worth out of one. The last two Gunsite models that I had each sold for $1,600.00 (NIB). They both sold in one day. I have not seen the standard Colt CCO in awhile. I am guessing around $850-950 for LNIB. Take a look on Gunbroker to get a better idea of pricing.
