100 rounds of PMC Bronze 115 grain FMJ
10 yards
5, 20 rounds magazines at a nice pace

Started dead center, then went some left side and then some head shots. I'm certainly no marksman but I'm happy with my results. No issues at all with the pistol. I love it and I haven't even added any of the Apex bits that I have yet. First time shooting since last January 2009 before I deployed. PMC Bronze was on sale today for 9 bucks per 50 rounds. Not too shabby. Needless to say I will be going back for many more trips with this pistol. Love it. :D

I used 1200 rounds of PMC Bronze and the M&P 9mm at a class last weekend. It is a surprisingly accurate combo and worked very well for me.

If you are interested in becoming a marksman, a good place to start would be with the drills at www.pistol-training.com (http://www.pistol-training.com). They've added a lot of challenge to my shooting and made my range trips more interesting.

I'm curious. Were you shooting for accuracy with time not being a factor or were you doing any dynamic drills under time etc? Great looking pistol. I've always been a big fan of the mag baseplates. I haven't taken the M&P dive yet and settled for a Gen 4 17 with my last purchase.

i was just picking different areas on the target to shoot at. no time, no drills really. just first time to the range with a new pistol and really just shooting. from here on out i will be working on all the fundamentals and speed, etc.

Ah, not my cup of tea, but what ever works for you.

I loved my M&P. I have a Glock 19 now, and I shot the M&P better, even with it's trigger the way it was. I didn't use the reset on it, yet I shot failure drills and controlled pairs better with it than I do using the reset on the Glock 19. I have no idea why this is.

I hope to get an M&P again someday, as soon as they come out with either a .22lr conversion slide or a .22lr replica M&P with like trigger pull.

Have fun with it.
