In need of sling lesson

Am I correct? Single point sling attaches to the gun at a single point. Two point attaches at two points...i.e. at the buttstock and at the front of the gun. What about the three point?

I have a Vickers Padded Cobra sling on my tactical shotgun...two point?

yes 1 point attaches on near buttstock only- 2 point at both ends,a 3 point usually has some sort of tension band that runs between the 2 attachment points front and rear. FWIW ,look at Larry Vickers website and his discussion of slings- -after 2 combat tours myself trying all sorts of stuff the 2 point is the way to go
