I know a lot of guys here have more experience, but save the 25% previously deployed guys this was most of our first experience with FISHing. So I am aware there is a lot of faults, we were just getting the basics down. I'm just happy we were able to execute a live shoot house after only 2 days of training and no one got shot.
Before I joined I used to love watching military videos, hope some of you guys enjoy this one.

Looks like an Elcan.

Yup. Although nobody in the Army calls it the Elcan. They call it an M145 or an MGO (Machine Gun Optic). If the lighting is just right it's a neat little sight. If the planets aren't in alignment though, you'd probably be better off with irons.

Glad you enjoyed it Mac!

Judging by the patches, I'm thinking that it is 11B BNCOC (or maybe ANCOC) at FT Benning. Just a guess, though. It could also be an MTT at Lewis (I saw lots of 172d and 2ID, plus a few 28ID and lots of "Follow Me" patches).

My son has been doing that type of training for the last three weeks.
He said it is pretty intense, but he is loven it. :D
