Perhaps the new airport body scanners are a bit too revealing.

A TSA worker in Miami was arrested for aggravated battery after police say he attacked a colleague who'd made fun of his small genitalia after he walked through one of the new high-tech security scanners during a recent training session.

Rolando Negrin, 44, was busted for assault after things got ugly at Miami International Airport between Negrin and some of his fellow Transportation Security Administration workers on Tuesday.

Sources say Negrin stepped into the machine during the training session and became embarrassed and angry when a supervisor started cracking jokes about his manhood, made visible by the new machine.

According to the police report, Negron confronted one of his co-workers in an employee parking lot, where he hit him with a police baton on the arm and back.

"[Negron] then told victim to kneel down and say 'your sorry,'" the report reads. "Victim stated he was in fear and complied with [Negron]."

Negron was arrested the next day when he arrived for work. He told police he had been made fun of by coworkers on a daily basis.

"[Negron] stated he could not take the jokes anymore and lost his mind," the report reads.

Negrin was arrested and booked into Miami-Dade County Jail. His arrest photo (above) shows him wearing his blue TSA shirt at the time of the arrest.

The attack may be the first piece of proof that the new scanners may be leaving too little to the imagination.

The $170,000 machines, which were introduced last year, took some heat from fliers who weren't quite ready to show their bod to government employees.

But if this latest incident is any indication, the scanners sound like good news for anti-terrorism and bad news for less-than-average men.

Yeah I've never really "rated" my package and I could give a crap less what anyone says about it, things like that don't bother me. What does bother me those new scanners.

If I had to pass threw one, I'd rent a car a drive. I've never left the country other then Canada and the only time I've flown is to Las Vegas a few times for business (ShotShow etc) but I'd drive make a road trip out of it. Those things are just getting too personal.

Also I couldn't really blame the guy for what he did. If I was on the jury, I wouldn't find him guilty. If a supervisor is that freaking childish and he treats his employs like that, hell he got what he deserved. Hope they fire his ass too.

Just my $ .02 cents...

Thousands Standing Around

I fly a lot. I hate the TSA. And before you tell me they are necessary, and noble warriors against terrorism, you can save that line for the mouth-breathers.

The supervisor should have never opened his pie hole in the 1st place & should have taken his deserved beat down like a man!

I fly a lot as well and couldn't agree more. Talking & Standing Around works too.

Are muslims exempt from the full body scanners because it is against their religion?

;)

There really aren't that many of them out there yet and on a side note you can tell them you don't want to go through the scanner and they give you a physical pat down after the metal detector.

I feel for the guy, imagine the hostile work environment created by the supervisor. I can still be compassionate, even for a TSA worker. Nobody deserved to be ridiculed at work, this had gone too far. I hope he sues, and I hate lawyers.

Bullies suck!

Well, if he were smart (but he's TSA) he would have raised the complaint with his HR representative instead of committing a felony in the parking lot.

Well, maybe under the new govt healthcare plan male travellers will be provided with Viagra 20 minutes before going through TSA screening.

Of course, the more progressive European countries like the Netherlands might provide pre-boarding fluffers.

I was going to say that's the kind of progress I can get behind...but then I remembered that I refer to most female TSA employees as Two Ton Tina.

I also agree that had he not committed a felony that would be one workplace harassment suit I wouldn't deem frivolous.

Sounds like the guy might have a lawsuit, I'm sure certain lawyer types would love such a case. Im talking about Mr. Small pecker, not the guy he attacked, even though the victim could probably sue as well. He could claim the TSA didn't provide adequate security in the parking lot.
