What 1911 was on the handguns program?

Did anyone catch if there was a compact 1911 on the handguns program that is on the sportsmans channel?

My dad really liked it and if I can get him away from the that Taurus Millennium Pro I'm going to do it.

Didn't see the show so I cant help you there... But, personally I don't recommend 1911 pattern pistols in less than Commander length (4.25"). Maybe look for a CCO variation which gives you an Officers frame with a Commander length slide. I have found that they carry just fine with proper leather and a good belt, but then again I often carry a fullsize 1911 with no complaints...

Thanks guys, he thought it was a 9 mm variant. I know there is a few out there, I just don't know which he was looking at that caught his eye.

Didn't they also have a Kimber Aegis on the show as well? I'll have to check the DVR when I get home from work.
