Laserlyte Glock sight

I searched this and cant find anything on it, my search skills maybe lacking. My question is are the laserlyte laser sights that replace the glock rear sight GTG?, or cheap trinket?

All research shows that it's good to go.

Personally I would never put one on my gun.

- Why put that there when you could get a CTC grip and still have a GREAT set of aftermarket sights, as opposed to a crappy bulky rear sight, and an unproven laser module?

- What if I have to do one-handed slide manipulation?

Thanks for the reply, I have played with a Glock with CT grip installed, didnt like it, I am transitioning from a Springfield loaded 1911 so the whole Glock thing is wierd to me anyway, one handed slide manipulation would seem to be easier to accomplish considering the size of the bulky rear, hang it in your pocket and rack slide? I dunno thats why I asked.
