I'm trying to set a Leupold Mark 4 3-9 TMR scope. Its mounted on a 16" flat top upper in Larue SPR - 1.5 mount - I was also using Harris BRSM bipod.

At 50 yard target I was shoting high but the elevation knob was turned at 0 and would not go down any more.

I read in the manual that is the scope is mounted in non adjustable mount the elevation and vindage adjustments need to be recentered.

Was my bipod height set to high? I don't think that should matter

What is the correct procedure to sight in this scope?

Right now the windage is set at 0 and only turns counterclokwise to raise the point of impact.

Any info is appreciated.

You guys need to "Slip your rings". What type of dials do you have M1/2/3?

For M1 dials you loosen the three allen head screws on the elevation dials to rotate the dial and give you enough depression to zero, and then retighten the screws. I havent messed with the M2 or M3 dials in a while but there should be a provision for doing the same.

Clear as mud?
