There are many things that can save our lives or make us more effective in an emergency or disaster. One of those things is benedryl (in spray, tablet, and gel form). The other is sun-tan lotion. Both can save lives and both can make or break your fire team.

Consider this: How well would your fighting team be if they were all sun burned and could carry no equipment because their skin is on fire/itching insanely. It most environments, the sun can be your enemy. In all states, the sun can cause blistering burns. It is very important to keep your skin protected. Even in Alaska you can fry. Even a sunny day on a snow capped mountain can burn you up, while the cool breeze masks its effects until it is too late.

Benedryl is what you will need if someone is sun burned. Along with Solarcaine or Noxema. Benedryle is also effective for poison oak/ivy and bee stings. You never know when aiding someones loved one from a bee sting will give you an improved position of authority in a crisis that requires loyalty.

So in your efforts to stock up for "the attack of the zombies". Don't forget all of those important plans and items that will save your life. Water or filter, rifle, ammo, mags, tac vests, hats or a helmet, and a med pack. There are more things that will make your life more secure in a crisis. These items are just some of the tools that will help.
