Found a used Glock (9mm) with an unknown round count. What parts should be replaced during p.m., and what, if anything, will wear first on these units? Mods - please move to handguns as I was unable to post there. Thanks.

recoil spring, mag springs, trigger spring.
that should do it.

Can you give us a little more background?

- What model and caliber is it?
- What generation is it?
- Does it run now?
- Does it have black internal parts?

I would strip it down to the bare frame and slide, clean and inspect it. Then if I was completely unsure of it or if it looked like someone dicked with it in the past I would at least replace the following for starters:

- Recoil Spring
- Slide Lock Spring
- Trigger Spring
- Firing Pin Spring
- Firing Pin Plunger Spring
- Extractor Spring

Can you post any pictures?

is there a recommended round count on the firing pin, plunger and extractor springs?
i've always heard 3k or so for recoil and trigger as they seem to be the most highly stressed.

^^^This.

Glock will re-build it to the latest spec for nothing and likely replace all springs.

That is hard to beat.
