Problems sighting an X400 Laser

I picked up a Surefire X400 today and mounted it on my Glock 19. Followed the directions for sighting in the laser. Tightened the windage screw to move the laser to the right, it went left. backed it off, it went left. I have played with both the elevation and windage screws but for the life of me I can't get the laser to move to the right to line up with the guns sights. Help!

Contact Surefire and describe the problem to them. Likely there's a defect with the device. Everybody turns out a lemon every now and again because the little old lady at the factory that installs Widget Mk 1 Mod 0 sometimes shows up to work drunk, or whatever.

Surefire does a pretty good job supporting their products.

Thanks for the feedback Riverine! I have an e-mail into Surefire and the dealer is also following up. The dealer said he would take care of me one way or the other.

The directions talk about resetting the laser after a few rounds. I did take the pistol to the ranch and fired 50 rounds to see if I could shock the laser back to reality. No luck.
