Found this ammunition at walmart today but have no experience with it. Anyone used it enough to comment on how it runs, ie. clean, reliable, etc...

Also, did I get a pretty good deal? I have been getting winchester white box ammo mostly for range but that has been running around 12 dollars a box.

It's the best cheap ammo I can find. I've shot about a case of it with out any problems.

It's federal from wal mart. I shoot it in 45. It's the cheapest, quality ammo you can get off the shelf.

Shot about 2000 rds of it and it runs just fine. Buy as much as you can afford/find. :)

I just bought 2000 rds of it yesterday at two different Wally Worlds for $9.47 per box of 50. In my area some stores carry it and some don't and some stores still have a six box limit and some have just recently removed the limit.

You guys remember the first rule of Fight Club? That applies to this ammo:D

Understood, it sounds like this ammo is no good. I will promptly visit all Wallyworlds in the area and remove it from circulation:D

The last box of Federal Champon 9mm 115 Gr FMJ that i ran through my Sig was underpower and low recoiling. The slide never locked back once and it jammed. I've fired other Federal Champon in the past in other guns and this didn't happen, could have just been a bad run on that lot.

The Blazer 9mm 115 Gr that i ran through my Sig that day worked great.

I've used it. Works fine.

I have shot thousands of rounds of Federal 9mm FMJ 115 Grain with zero issues. The Federal 115 and 124 grain FMJ is my preferred range/practice ammo. I just miss the days of picking them up for $5 a box.
