The upper was built by Monty LeClair at Centurion Arms. Optic is a NF 2.5-10x32 with MD/MR/IR on a LaRue Tactical SPR mount.

I got rid of the A2 stock and am using a LMT SOPMOD for greater versatility.

I already posted mine in the AR GD pic thread but here goes...

Aside from the lower this is as close as you can get to a real Mk12.

Upper:

-Centurion Arms Mk12 barrel
-KAC FF RAS Long
-KAC M4 front buis
-KAC 600M rear buis
-Colt BCG
-Colt M4 upper
-Badger Mk12 gas block
-Ops Inc brake and collar
-KAC bi-pod adapter
-Harris BRM-S bipod

Lower:

-LMT Defender Lower
-Colt end plate, castle nut, and 4 pos rec ext
-LMT SOPMOD
-Geiselle DMR
-Colt A2 Grip
-Colt Trigger Guard

Optics:

-Nightforce NXS Compact Mil-Dot 2.5-10x32 (2.5x10x24 is discountinued).
-Nightforce Ultra Light 1.375" Rings

Ive only got a couple hundred rounds through it so far but accuracy and reliability have been very good. I did the lower myself, the upper was build by Gun Gallery with my parts, and some of theirs. They do good work, and I highly recommend them.

Shooting impressions so far is that this is a very pleasant setup to shoot. With the break, and general weight of the gun there is barely any recoil or muzzle movement. RetreatHell, and I were able to do rapid fire, and double taps on a 100yrd steel gong quite easily. The trigger is pretty light, and is not comparable to even an SSA let alone a USGI single stage. Im still getting used to it. I plan on getting the can for it but I have other priorities at the moment. I like the "clone" aspect to it but quite frankly if you were looking for one can to supresss a bunch of guns you'd be better off with a setup that allows you to use the same mount, one can, and put it on a bunch of stuff. Unless you get the brake and collar setup to match the Mk12mod1 on a bunch of guns this is the only thing the can will work for.

I put this together because Ive always wanted a Mk12 build, and there is a 1000 yard range opening up near me. Nothing else I had was really good for this. I want to expand my long range shooting, I like AR's, and always wanted one of these. Anyways heres some pics. The only thing Id change about this setup is Id prefer a black coated barrel, and Im going to replace the scope with something else.
