300 yards with colt 6920, 18"x 12" steel torso

650 yards with a standard m1a, 30"x24" steel plate

Long ass ways out there on rocks up to about 6' in diameter with 22 rifles, Garands, M14s, 03A3s, M1 carbines, ARs, lever actions and just about anything else we had that didn't have scopes mounted to them. Dad took us out to the desert about once a month and we had a whole valley to safely shoot in that stretched back about 5 miles or so.

Measured, I'd lay 7 out of 8 rounds in the kill zone of a steel hippo or something at Angeles Shooting Range off-hand with my Garand. I think it was out at 800 yards.

I used to amuse myself popping off rounds at a steel silhouette target set at 200 yards with a Charter Arms Bulldog in 44 Special. Got so I could hit it 2 or 3 times out of 5

LWRCi M6A3 - 12.7'' profile + AAC M4-2000
KAC Micro 200-600m micro rear sight + LWRCi gas block sight.
75 gr. Hornady OTM. (I think. It wasn't my ammo. I just know that it was Hornady.)

Wasn't going for groups. I just know that I hit it pretty consistently.
