Sling swivel removal

What is the easiest way to remove the front sling swivel? I thought about drilling out the rivet but I don't want to mess things up either.

Is there a special tool for it? Can anyone give me some tips?

tap out the pin.

Punch and hammer. Just make sure the punch is small enough to fit through the sling swivel holes in the FSB so you dont mar anything.

Nice little roll pin punch and a hammer will do it. Replace the pin once you remove it so you don't lose it.
