Any Experience?

Also, can i install these myself? i was able to do all the Apex parts myself...just worried about getting the front sight off.

And worried about zeroing them.

I run the straight 8's. They are good. I think the Warren's are better though.

The front sight can be a PITA for sure. A sight pusher is a good investment.

I really like the "Ledge" sights from Heinie. I feel they are the best sight available for the M&P. My experience is that both the front & rear sights need a good amount of fitting in order to install them, and yes, a sight pusher helps alot.

I had Apex install mine, but I am very pleased with them :D

I've been looking for new sights for my 9L and those look pretty nice!

I gotta set of the 8 ledge tritiums last week. Ran a 2 day course with them and like them so far. Haven't used in low light with live fire yet. I installed the rear no problem, but had a hard time with the front, so I had the smith at my range put on for $10 bux. All good. I like them better than the three dot stock ones for sure.

Has anyone been able to successfully remove the front sight without using a sight pusher? I've changed out many sights on other pistols myself without issue, but the fronts on the M&P's seem to be troublesome for people. I'd rather not ship my slide off if I can help it when I pick up my Ledges here pretty soon.

You could probably get a local gunsmith at a gunshop to do it for you relatively cheaply.

I run straight eights on my XD. Had a local smith change them after I realized how tight the factory sights were. It cost me around thirty bucks for the set IIRC. I couldn't see spending the money for a sight pusher for something I wouldn't be messing with on a regular basis.

There's not a single shop in my town that I would let any where near my slide.

Now to just find a shop that can install mine. Or just wait until I send it to Boresight (they install right)?
