Are there any AA Battery Flashlights for a AR-15 that are like the Surefires?

I like Surefires but all my other gear takes AA Batteries.

Just wondering because I can find alot more AA's than CR123 Batteries.

I have been looking for the same thing.

The outlook is not too good. The mighty 3V 123 battery just has the AA out classed in small electronics. That is why it started it's life as a camera battery powering flashes.

Generally speaking, AA's are not the best choice for a weaponlight so you might have an issue trying to find something that will be durable enough to use on your AR.
