Anyone have experience with this or use it. I dont know about all the patent pending stuff so I was hoping one of yall would know.

Also I was wondering if there are jags specific to pistol and jags specific to rifles like there are for brushes. like a jag for a 9mm pistol and one for a 9mm rifle(carbine) the rifle jag is longer than the pistol jag but does that really have an effect when it comes to cleaning? couldnt you use the pistol jag or brush for both weapons?

I have the smaller version. Recommended by 6mmbr.com. The version you refer to is actually better because the jags are nickel plated. This helps prevent false positives when using a copper bore cleaner.

so these jags will be ok in my pistols too?

I need new brushses so i figures why not just get the package deal and be done with it. then ill always have a place for future brushes.

The jags should work in either pistols or rifles.

The reason there are pistol and rifle specific brushes is that a rifle brush may be too long for a revolver. Pistol brushes are shorter. On a revolver, you have to push the brush through the bore from the muzzle. If the brush is too long, the brush may not be able to go all the way through the barrel due to the limited space of the frame opening. Then the brush could get partially stuck between the throat of the barrel and the recoil shield of the frame. If that happens, you can't pull it back out with out it really getting stuck. You have to unscrew the brush.

Not an issue with auto loaders because there is nothing stopping you from pushing the brush all the way through the bore.
