Yes, I have personal experience with one and have several reports from the long range shooting courses my brother teaches. Highly recommended. Once you figure out your holdovers for your ammo, it.....just works.

I have the fixed 10 power on a .308 LR308 and like it fine.

I just finished T&E'ing the 2.5x10 and a 1-6x prototype. I should have the results availble in a few days. The 2.5x10 is on contract through the Rapid Equipping Force and is seeing some use down range on the M-14 EBR's. It has also recieved some good reviews in various courses CONUS such as Littlelebowski brothers.

They were the first FFP optic I have used, I currently use a couple of SFP Nightforce optics on ARs, a Leupold on my bolt gun. The Rapid reticle gave me several features that i was looking for in a DM optic. For an M-14 the 2.5x10 is a nice size match, but it ginormis on my Noveske SPR.

I gave a lot of feedback on the 1-6x reticle which they were very receptive to. I believe that it has great potental as a Multi-Functional Optic. Until they make their final decisions I won't add the comments on the 1-6x, but it looks like they will incorperate some of those ideals, time will tell.

Once I complete the write up I'll either post it here or start a new thread. Love the ranging ablity of the FFP and the rapid transitions between targets at unknown ranges.

I look forward to reading that it does look huge. Can you give me a heads up on the ranges up your way?

Nice optics and the reticle does work well. Honestly it's one of the best optics for the money. I put one up for sale in EE but I'm kind of regretting it, I just have too many other optics I'd rather keep.

The hardest part is learning range estimation but if you've got a range finder there isn't much problem, as LL said you just need to figure out your holds for a given load.

It should also be said that using the reticle in low-light can be problematic outside of simply quartering the target with the thicker lines which works fairly well inside of 400 yards.

I bet EXBAL would work great with that optic I have an older version of the software but as long as the substensions are listed in the manual its should be a no brainer. If I had a newer version it would have alot more recticules in it.
